National Support

Childline –
Contact ChildLine anytime on 0800 1111 – calls are free and confidential. The Childline website also has lots of help and advice on all sorts of topics, including bullying, domestic violence, eating problems, exam stress, friends, HIV and AIDS, pregnancy and contraception, racism, stepfamiles and more.

The Site – aims to be the first place all young adults turn to when they need support and guidance. It includes factsheets and articles on all the key issues facing young people including: sex and relationships; drinking and drugs; work and study; housing, legal and finances; and health and wellbeing. There are also discussion boards on these topics.

There4me –
There4me is for you if you’re worried about something and need some help. It can help with loads of issues like abuse, bullying, exams, drugs and self harm.

A website explaining what cyberbulling is, what you can do about it and how to report it.

Advice on problems including Cyberbullying and bullying outside school.

For young people aged twelve to twenty, who are affected by someone who has a problem with drinking.

Confidential drugs advice and information service available 24 hours a day.


CAFCASS Children & CAFCASS Teenagers –
Information for children and teenagers whose parents are going to family court because they are splitting up or because they are finding it hard to look after their children properly or keep them safe.


No Limits –
No Limits is a charity that offers information, advice, counselling, advocacy and support for young people under 26 living in Southampton and Hampshire.

Young Minds –
Information for young people on abuse, depression, eating problems, education, self-harm, mental illness in the family and other mental health issues.
